/ MORFE.STUDIO
COMING SOON_
The door opens soon.
This is the unfinished home of MORFE — artist, engineer and designer. A growing archive of paintings, ideas, systems and the work that happens between them.
Estamos construyendo la casa de mi obra. Mientras la puerta termina de abrirse, puedes conocer una parte de ella aquí.
ABOUT
Hi, I'm Martin Alejandro Morfe Carballo
A visual artist who writes code, and an engineer who paints.
“Being an artist transcends the medium.”
I work across painting, design and technology. My practice begins with the same instinct regardless of the medium: observe, understand, build and give form to an idea.
I paint traditionally — watercolor, acrylic and pencil — while studying Computer Engineering at Universidad Valle del Momboy (Venezuela). Engineering and design do not sit outside my artistic practice; they expand the ways I can create.
My work has connected me with clients and projects across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Hawaii.

What I'm building now
- A new body of personal work and a daily studio practice.
- Revisiting a 2024 portrait project through a new series exploring watchmakers, their stories and the relationship between art, craft and engineering.
- Developing MORFE.STUDIO into the permanent home for the work.
- Studying Computer Engineering and Harvard's CS50, exploring the intersection of art, design and systems.
- Building technical and design projects when they expand the practice — like TechPack AI Builder, and Morfe Maison, the studio I lead on Upwork.
